PUPUT Pét-Nat 2025: a step forward in sustainability
At Celler de les Aus (Art Laietà) we are launching the 2025 vintage of our ancestral wines: Puput Pét-Nat and Puput Rosé Pét-Nat. These wines remain true to their free and natural essence, while entering a new stage with a refreshed image, a lighter bottle, and an even stronger commitment to sustainability.
With this release, the Puput Pét-Nat wines debut a new image that will set the tone for the entire Celler de les Aus range going forward. The new labels feature drawings by artist Paul Faassen: watercolors of the birds that give the wines their names, with a unique and expressive style that mirrors the character of the wines. This visual language reinforces the connection between wine, nature, and creativity. The illustrations not only decorate the bottle but also tell a story consistent with the winery’s philosophy: vibrant, free wines without artifices.
Lighter bottle: sustainability in action
Beyond the aesthetic change, the new Puput Pét-Nat and Puput Rosé Pét-Nat come in a much lighter bottle, reduced from 835 g to just 460 g. This significant weight reduction is a clear step forward in sustainability. Key benefits of this change include:
- Reduction of the carbon footprint associated with transport
- Lower consumption of natural resources in glass production
- Improved logistical and energy efficiency
- Alignment with a more environmentally friendly viticulture and winemaking
The new look for both Puput wines, white and rosé, is completed by the shift to a transparent bottle, replacing the traditional sparkling wine bottle previously used. This change allows the wine to be seen as it is, showing its color, brilliance, and the movement of the lees inside the bottle (slightly cloudy, unfiltered wine). A decision that reinforces the message of transparency and authenticity that defines Celler de les Aus’ ancestral wines.
