Pruning workshop and calçotada
Pruning the vine is an essential task that contributes directly to the quality of the wines and cavas we produce. During the months of January and February, when the vines rest, we carry out the annual pruning work. On 15th February, Jaume Basses and Jordi Pinto, two passionate members of the Alta Alella wine team, will share their knowledge and experience with all the visitors. The workshop includes a short theoretical "training" on pruning, one of the most important tasks to control the production and quality of the root, which is done manually and with great care. You will then take the tools to put your new knowledge into practice in the vineyards of the emblematic Vallcirera Qualified Park.
In order to recover and get closer to seasonal cooking, we will finish the activity with a calçotada, with potatoes, botifarres and desserts! During the lunch, you'll enjoy the wines and cavas of the house.
